UAC Matters
Meaningful urban research begins in the field - listening, observing, and understanding how people experience place in the their everyday lives.
The Urban Atlas Collective approaches spatial analysis as more than data alone. By combining mapping, community engagement, and visual storytelling, the work seeks to connect systems, policy, and lived experience in ways that are both rigorous and human.
Services
Urban Atlas Collective provides spatial analysis, policy research, and community-centered engagement focused on equity in the built environment. Our work combines mapping, data interpretation, and visual inquiry to help organizations better understand place, people, and systemic change.
Clients
Primary clients include nonprofit organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, foundations, community development organizations, advocacy groups, and other mission-driven organizations seeking research, mapping, and data-driven storytelling services.
Urban Atlas Collective was created to address a critical challenge in urban policy and planning: many of the systems that shape communities are studied and managed in isolation, even though their impacts are deeply interconnected.
Housing vacancy, school closures, transportation infrastructure, environmental hazards, public investment, and neighborhood redevelopment are often treated as separate issues. In reality, they are part of the same spatial and social landscape. Decisions made in one area frequently produce consequences in another, often with lasting impacts on communities.
